When wildfires swept through the Anaheim hills, they left behind both destruction and a community in need. Wanting to help in the way I knew best, I created a Kickstarter campaign that combined illustration with limited-edition merchandise to raise funds for the American Red Cross. Every design carried the spirit of resilience and support, turning artwork into a way for people to give back and stand with survivors. The campaign became more than just fundraising—it was about channeling creativity into something meaningful, rallying a community through art, and offering hope in the aftermath of loss.

To make the campaign personal, I hand-drew every design, creating enamel pins and pinback button sets as rewards for donors. These items gave supporters something tangible to connect with—a symbol of solidarity they could hold or wear. This project marked the beginning of my experiential journey, showing me how illustration can extend beyond the page to become part of people’s lives and memories, while also making a real-world impact.
